= Trading Hut = The Trading Hut has become the focal point for many activities on site over recent years. There are always a bunch of plot holders and members there on a Sunday morning buying fertilisers etc., or simply socialising. The range of products on sale is improving all the time and good horticultural advice is in abundance. A free seed swap scheme was introduced in 2001 for plot holders and non-plot-holding members alike. The Trading Hut is very often the first point of contact for new members and our Trading Secretary ensures the prices are always competitive. All this combined with our delivery service for bulky items will ensure the success of our Trading Hut for many, many years to come. Initially, we will be open only on a Click and Collect basis for our Members to collect pre-ordered, pre-paid Stock Items (see Stock Sheet for details). This plan will be reviewed regularly, depending on Covid 19 restrictions, and any changes will be posted here and advised to Members by email, so please check the website or look out for further emails to Members before coming, as plans might change at short notice.
We plan to open the Trading Hut from 10.30am to 12.00 noon on the first Saturday of the month and on most Sundays for the other weekends of each month from February to September. Here is a full list of the planned opening days:
