SHAS Annual Plant Sale 2015

Once again, the Society is holding its annual plant sale and this year we are holding the prices the same as last year’s! So, even more bargains than usual.

All orders and payments MUST be received no later than 12 Noon on Sunday 26th April 2015.

Your orders will be ready and must be collected from the SHAS Trading Hut Grosvenor Road between 11am and 12 noon on Saturday 9th May 2015

Coronation Street comes to our allotments

As reported in the January edition of Grasscuttings (find it in the ‘Grasscuttings’ section of the website to read the full story), ITV will be using one of our plots to film a new story line for Coronation Street over the next few months.

Filming will take place around a plot at the Glebeland Road end of our site. Therefore, so as not to interrupt continuity of filming, access to the site will not be available through the Glebelands Road entrance during filming sessions. The two entrances on Grosvenor Road will be open as usual.

Planned filming dates and times will be given below as we are advised of them.

Our site made its first appearance in 'Corry' on Friday 20th March when it made 3 appearances in the 2nd episode of the night!!
